Drew Scott Forlini, 46, of Newfoundland, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 28th. He is survived by his fiancé, Toni Zimmerman and his son Wyatt Forlini, both of whom he loved with all of his heart.

Drew is also survived by his soon-to-have-been mother-in-law, Doris Fowler and his beloved kitty, Harley.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Drew was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Semler. He is also survived by his step-father, Peter Semler.

Drew loved life. He had a job that he loved, working with Seeley’s Marina on Lake Wallenpaupack and he was great friends with his co-workers. He enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and camping (even in the winter) and also loved taking pictures of nature and riding his Harley any chance he got.

Music was a huge part of Drew’s life. He was a wonderful guitar player and drummer and he could carry a tune, even though he never thought so; and he had the privilege of playing at Yankee Stadium when he was in high school marching band. In his spare time, Drew could most likely be found jamming at the home of his best friend, William Chayka. Drew and his fiance Toni enjoyed attending many concerts together, including Dave Matthews Band and numerous others.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, May 6th at 4 p.m. at 1502 Mill Creek Road in Newfoundland. All family and friends are invited to come and share memories of Drew and enjoy some delicious food and Bourbon around a campfire, one of his favorite things.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hopewell Cancer Institute in Lutherville, MD. It is a place where people with cancer, and those who support them, can find inspiration, community, and hope.
