Jefferson Twp., 18436 officiated by Rev. Art Yetter. Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Alfred E. Sheerer, Madison Twp., died Wednesday in the Geisinger Community Medical Center after an illness. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Wilmer F and Esther May Meyers Sheerer. He was educated in North Pocono Schools and worked his entire life in the area for different people. He was a member of the Cortez United Methodist Church. Surviving are a sister Margaret Saar of Madison Twp.; brothers George Sheerer of S. Canaan and Paul Knecht of North Carolina; nieces and nephews.
